mindful care makes your garment last a longer.
as all ufo pieces are made of different materials and qualities, it is best to wash them by hand in tepid water and lay flat to dry (do not hang or fold). remove excess water with a towel by laying the item on a towel and rolling it up jelly-roll style, squeezing and pressing gently. unroll then, leave in fresh air to dry.
if needed you can also wash your ufo at 30°C in the washing machine, using a wool program and adding a small amount of wool soap, and then flat dry in desired shape.
